Happy birthday Stacy and Bridget! Always great trying to keep up w both of you! Can’t remember my time today but it was slow due to nursing my wounds from the pullups yesterday:) right where I needed to grip the KB was where my rips are. Birthday burpees were a ‘piece of cake’ compared to farmers carry. We did a mile run after and it felt great…..CFNKY has really made a difference in my running speed.

Thanks for the birthday wishes this morning. A fellow crossfiter said yesterday, “why are you so excited to be doing burpees for your birthday? That is just sick”. Well yes it is and I am just blessed and thankful that at the ripe old age of 38 I can do burpees. Thanks to crossfit I know I can do 50 burpees in a row so 38 staggered through the workout was a nice birthday gift from Lucas!
15: something was my time today. 2 ab mats for the HSPU and 35#kb for farmers carry.

I am having a hard time typing this after lugging the kettle bell and barbell around. Finished in just over 20 minutes. Happy birthday Stacy and Bridget. Hope everyone can make it over on Friday.
Farmers’ carry (35#) nearly did me in. Modified the HSPU (on box, still), but came in at 15:58. Happy Birthday to Stacy and Bridget – the burpees were a tribute! So glad Maddie joined us tonight – you did a great job 🙂

2 mats for HSPU & my head actually touched the mat on most of them! That is good progress for me!

On 24″ box for HSPU.
Did 2 regulation teeny-tiny HSPU afterwards just to see what it felt like. Now I have a goal to work toward.
19:09 today with push ups on the box. Was able to do a handstand afterwards for the first time, but I think I am a long way from HSPUs yet.
