  • Oh my- I wish I wouldn’t have read this so early in the morning- now I have 8 hours to think about this wod!

I was dreading this WOD when I saw it…but made myself go. Took 28:06. Did 5 unassisted strict pull-ups on the first round but then started using the purple band, eventually using the red band and near the end of the wod, used purple and red together (that was like having an elevator hoisting me up!). My HSPUs have little to no range of motion, so had to use the box for almost all of these. Great job Stacy, Emily and Kim!!

Frustrating WOD when you have to modify so much. 27:something…Started first round with Red band then moved to Blue for the remainder. HSP w/ 1 ab mat sometimes 2, didn’t really make a difference. My elbows felt like they were barely bending. Lucas explained that they are like shoulder presses however when you can only SP 85# my body weight in comparison to that is a joke. Great job girls!

Used the red band for pull-ups and two mats for hand stand pushups.

Red band pull ups and HSPU on the box
I like that explanation comparing to shoulder presses- hadn’t thought of it that way- but in the same boat with a 90ish SP and a much more one hundred-ish body weight
