WOD Demo with Sarah Hopping – video [wmv] [mov] [HD mov]
1st-Watch the video, if you have any questions.
2nd-Yes, you can do it!
3rd-figure out a heavy weight….but NOT 145 😉
4th-it isn’t for time-thank God
5th-take your rest and recover- I think i rested 7min./9min
This was a good & hard WOD.
the grip and forearms are swole at the end(think Popeye.)
mentally, you have to focus to make it.
great work by Stacy and Kendra
Do not take “Gwen” lightly…this is very hard to keep your grip…I went with 95# and had 4 fouls. Penalty 10 burpees per foul 🙂
135-145-150 no fails
Started to light
Next time maybe start at 155 or 165
Cool wod
Armando said when he 100% he’s doing 205# so we will all get a chance to do it again soon.
I will try!
I wonder what we r doing today???????
Helen! 🙂
145# for this one. I had a fail on the first round, rep 14. Ridiculous. Completed the rest of the rounds OK. My forearms and grip were shot. Great job by Kevin and Thomas tonight.
so that’s what I used. It felt a lot heavier 😉 Great Job 5:30 to 7:30.
I went with 115 lbs no fouls. I’ll have to go a little heavier next time. Just can’t keep up with the big dogs. Haha
I used 105 and didn’t drop the bar. However, I didn’t get “popeye arms” or bruises on my legs like other commenters so maybe I didn’t push myself hard enough! Next time I’ll go a little heavier. I enjoyed it though!
yes, if you weren’t “swole” you could add more bad ass weight!
