“Helen”, just reminded me that I cannot run worth a crap! I did run all the laps this time so I will take that as an improvement! However, I was back to “CABOOSE” status tonight.

It’s Tuesday morning in Manila. 44 burpees in the books. 100 double unders, some hangind dead lifts, pulls ups, sit ups, squats and a 500M row. Can’t wait to get back to crossfitnky.
First attempt at Helen – came in at 13-something. I’m looking forward to even warmer days to try this one again. It does feel good to change it up, though. Awesome job everyone at 5:30 – especially my Maddie – yeah, she’s a Baker 🙂

Having my sister there was so much fun!!! Pushed us both even harder and we loved it. The past two workouts I’ve done (Saturday and tonight) have made me LOVE crossfit! I can already tell I’m getting stronger and think it’s time to take off the purple band and try green solo…!!!
Nice to be outside for part of the WOD even though my nose was running! 12:47 for time – little slower than last time….need to step it up! Good to see Karin at 4:30! Great job everyone – including Caboose boy!
Never done helen before. That cold run was…refreshing??? Gotta work on these runs! My slow running murdered my time. But still a great WOD. Came in at 17:23?? Not so good. But I’ll kill it next time! I’m with you rachel let’s take off that purple band next time we do pull ups!
I knew it!!! I checked the weather before I got out of bed this morning & thought to myself…we’re either doing Helen or Nancy today, I can feel it.
Not sure if me being right in this case is a good thing or a bad thing, though 🙂

Made my own travel wod
5 Rounds all with 2-25# db’s
10 squat cleans to thrusters 50#
10 sumo dead lift high pull 50#
20 walking lunges 50#
10 shoulder press 50#
Elliptical for 30 boring minutes. My butt and legs are hurting today!
I did this one with 35lb kettlebells because of the chalk spine I have and finished this in 12 something. Felt pretty dang good too!
