Saturday morning, 10am and 11am free bring a friend classes….1st timers welcome!!!

WOD: “AIR FORCE
For time:
20 Thrusters
20 Sumo deadlift high pulls
20 Push jerks
20 Overhead squats
20 Front squats

Men will use a 95lb barbell. Women will use 65lbs. Each athlete must do four burpees at the beginning of every minute before moving on to the barbell work. The athlete is allowed to move to the next barbell skill once an he/she has completed all 20 reps. If the minute clock beeps during a repetition the athlete will complete their rep and then start their four burpees. There is a 20 min cap.

    This was terrible! At first I felt bad about dropping to 75 for it, but there is no way I would have gotten through the OHS with 95. 16:56. I was determined not to do another round of burpees. Nice work 6am!

    Oy. #1, now that Doug and Lucas have seen my dysfunctional morning personality, I feel I have an excuse not to go to 6 AM classes. #2-An awesome yet horribly tough WOD. Did it at 65, but ROM on my OHS and Front Squats was lame. However, finished in 18:58–there was no way I was doing another burpee. Great job 6 AM!

    I am still recovering from the 550 sit-ups I did at the beginning of the week. It’s murder trying to get through them at home, I can’t imagine doing much more. I hope to be able to make it in tomorrow. I’m starting to withdraw since I’ve not been since Tuesday.

    not sure if I felt it up,but I’m pretty sure I french kissed it. I hated this WOD…there I admitted it. At 6 min in I considered telling Lucas to write DNF next to my name, throwing my bar down and having a temper tantrum. Needless to say, not sure I actually squatted but I managed to hold the bar overhead for my overhead somethings. 15:50.

    I thought this was going to be hard, but it actually wasn’t hard…it was BRUTAL!

    rx’d in 15:31…well except for the burpees-what I did isn’t actually a rx’d burpee b/c of the belly, but close enough 🙂

    Ugh, ugly. I think time almost expired on me! I guess ir isn’t a brag to say I did the most burpees of anyone?

  • i actually liked this WOD. Sumo’s, push jerks and Overheads are my jam baby!! I hate front squats and thrusters though and the burpees is like pure hell in between this madness. Did manage to squeek out an 8:43 on this one though….
