With a continuously running clock do one 135 pound Clean and Jerk the first minute, two 135 pound Clean and Jerks the second minute, three 135 pound Clean and Jerks the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

  • I got to 6 and 2 reps beyond. I like these exercises, esp because there is no running marbled into the workout

  • 5 rounds at 90# then dropped to 85# then 75# but couldn’t get the reps in within the minute.

  • 8 rounds +5 reps of minute 9.
    Should have tried a bit harder for the 9 round.

    (for reference, we haven’t done this wod since 8/25/09 in the old gym)

  • I did this one on 12/8/09. Back in December, I did 9 rounds at 55#. Today I did 7 rounds plus 4 at 85#. 🙂

  • I’m going to go ahead and say that workouts that start with “death by” are HARD!

    I did 5 rounds plus 3 reps of round 6 at 95#
