Burpee Challenge Day 10….

WOD: From The CrossFit main site January 8th

Five rounds for time of:
10 Wall climbs
10 Toes to bar
20 Box jumps, 24″ box

For the wall climbs, start with your toes and chest on the deck, walk your feet up the wall until your chest touches the wall, and then descend back to the original position.

    Just want to say I miss you guys! I check this site almost everyday. I’m trying to recreate the workouts – but it’s not the same. I can’t bring myself to start another CrossFit yet, but I suppose I will:(

  • First day back from being off a week….interesting wod! Actually liked the wall climbs (even though I was cussing like a sailor the first round!) Time 24:00

  • Made up yesterdays WOD with the 5AMer’s this morn. I finished that sucker in 10:35 Rx’d with the GHD’s. I was pissed because i was sure i would finish in the 9’s but oh well….

    On a side note I’m filing a formal complaint with Lucas regarding the conspicuous lack of the 6AM class photo’s as of late. I know being the best looking class may be detrimental to other classes pride but come on Lucas! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Sorry Adam,we will try and take more pictures in the AM classes..My photographer doesn’t want to get up that early in the morning. I will make it a priority and get all you great looking people from the AM classes on the blog.

  • Great to be back in, again, to CrossFitNKY! I hope to be getting back in more than once every few months! Great workout today. Forgot to check my time but glad I finished those wall climbs!

  • Let me explain…the few pics that Lucas takes, don’ turn out. The good photographer works 9-5 ๐Ÿ™‚ and stays up late watching Chelsea Lately….iI’ll see what i can do!

  • Ok…that was the most difficult Crossfit workout I’ve ever done!!! Those wall climbs were crazy hard! Never thought I would finish, but really glad I did…great workout! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1st round..”I’ll never finish”
    2nd Round…”I can finish, I don’t care how long it takes me”
    3rd round…”I think I’m getting the hang of this”
    4th round….numb….
    5th round…”It’s my last round, fu**, let’s make up some time”

    Glad to do this wod with close friends, we laughed, suffered, climbed (and fell off of) the wall together ๐Ÿ™‚

  • You summed it up perfectly, Wendy. My sentiments exactly! I finished in 29:57 and it took everything I had. I’m still shaking my head over this one…

    Finished the insanity in 26 and some change. I was actually looking forward to the toes to bar.

  • Kim “modified” finished in 26:59. My wall climbs were more like wall “oh please let me move my hands back at least one time!”. With KTE and plates for jumps. Crazy fun times!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I finished!!!

  • Nice job everyone….this was a pleasant wod. As much as I hated it, I enjoyed it that much more. I don’t remember my time but it wasn’t great lol.

  • Wendy you said it best! And this was the first time I’ve ever laughed in the middle of a WOD…I was cracking up at first!

    My time was 30:28 I think. I know I didn’t get flat against the wall until the 3rd round, though…took some time to figure it out.

    I did love every minute of having wendy and toni on either side of me, though!
