  • 14:22 today with 75lb push press and double unders the whole way except for 120 single unders rather than 30 DUs. Busy 6 am class today.

    BTW, rxd for women is 55lbs.

  • Self Defense class Thursday at 630pm off Mineola Pike. I put up a flyer this morning on the cork board. I can email you the info too. It’s $10, some free food and drinks.

    Forced myself to do double-unders for the 50-40-30, but then got too frustrated and did single-unders for the 20-10. I think the most I could string together was 5du’s in a row.

  • 12:15 Glad there was no warm up run for the 5am class. Can we go sled riding for a warm up when it snows?

  • I was at they workout facility here in Manila yesterday morning doing some burpees when one of the workers asked me if I was doing crossfit. There is a crossfit facililty over here. I hope I can get a chance to visit. Did the baseline workout this morning. 4:15. The pull up bar here sucks. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Missing crossfitnky. See you guys next Friday.

  • Time 12:45 – Rx’d the first round, then dropped to single-unders after that. Coach Lucas – you must have trained Jeff well if someone can recognize a Crossfit-Burpee half-way around the world! Miss you Jeff 🙂

  • Love, love, love this workout!!! Any overhead pressing jobs anyone needs…I’m your man! However DU’s? I’m like a monkey humping a football, fun to watch but it’s probably gonna end in disaster. I did DU’s the first round, broke a rope, jumped with what i can describe as a 1st graders rope until the back of my head started to bleed, finally got a good rope and did single unders the rest of the workout….still finished in 9 something but i don’t count what i don’t Rx. Still, loved the workout!!!!

  • 13:2?, can’t really remember my time as I didn’t pay much attention to it. I did all DUs and it started off as usual (sets of 1 to 3 DUs strung together with cursing to get to 50 DUs and an elevated BP). something happened and they started getting easier midway through. I managed 17 in a row on my 20 DU set and knocked out all 10 in a row on the last round. My previous best was 10 DUs in a row and I had only done that once and rarely got more than 4 in a row. Thank you Kristin for “quiting SUs blog”.

  • I dont know my time — all i know is that it was a murderous eternity filled with pain and loathing and rageful tears pouring from every piece of DNA in my upper body. Yes, its because i’m a wussy with weights and usually i can’t Rx…
    But – i was able to do 25 DU’s in a row to start it off and so at least i can feel good about that. All DU’s for me… 🙂 i feel like a schoolgirl! How about double dutch next time?
