Monday- Crossfit Games WOD Week

All week we will be doing workouts that were in the Crossfit games.

WOD:
1-rep Clean every 30 seconds with progressively heavier barbells

Athletes will be ranked by the weight of their heaviest successful clean. Partial pounds will be awarded for each additional deadlift completed after they attempt and fail the clean.

  • Clean Ladder – 115#/15 DL 135#…There was a big jump in the ladder from 115 to 135 so after the DL I went back and completed 130# clean. Great job Niki on your 135# attempt after the fact. And to Brian the newbie who rocked it this morning. Watch out Armando ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I loved looking at the site today and seeing we were gonna do a “games week”.
    The ladder was fun and cool to see everyone moving thru it.
    I got to 115# on the ladder and 135# DL(20).30 sec.goes by fast.
    Brian did a kick ass job today…and i did my 135# Power clean(after i was “out”)-seeing Brian move that heavy weight def. inspired me.
    the sprint after was a good one…1:55 for me.

  • Good job today Lucas. Practice bar muscle ups and the snatch ladder up to 175# all squat cleans. What got into you.

    I was only able to get 225# power clean / DL 245 20 times.

  • Got up to 195# on the clean ladder which is a PR for me. Very pleased. 1:42 on the shuttle run. Great job by everyone at 5:30 and 6:30. I think there were a lot of PR’s happening.

  • Clean PR for me today 205 Oh Yeah it was great. I don’t remember what my count was for dead lift (215) Jeff said hurry up and I started cracking up but I think it was above 6 ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for the tips Sam and everyone else who pointed out the things I was doing wrong.

  • Thomas, you did more than 6 DL’s. I had you with at least with 8. ๐Ÿ™‚ Great job today.

  • Got up to 215# on clean ladder. 225#DL got 19. Need more practice cleaning, my techniques sucks. Great job 5:30 and 6:30 class.
