WOD:
“The Bear Complex”

5 rounds, 7 sets equals 1 round of:
Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Push Press

No resting on the ground (even to re-grip) during rounds. Touch and go reps only. Rest between rounds as needed. Work towards max load.

  • The bear was angry today. Started at 95, 100, 105, 110, 115F. Had to stop 2 reps into round 5 due to a strained neck.

  • Gonna have to miss this one. I’ll be at school working on a project all night. Have fun guys!!

  • Followed Stacy’s lead on this one today: 65-70-75-80-80

    80# dropped on that 2nd push press off my back on the 5th set the first time and the 4th set the 2nd time…..cardio killer, who knew?

  • 95/105/115/125/135 did 4sets of the 135# on my 5th rd!
    After doing it I looked up my first “Bear Complex” which I did on 4/19/2010 Results were 75/85/90/85/90
    Super excited about what can happen in a year and looking forward to this next year for sure.

  • Wow, Sean those are amazing results after one year! This was my first Bear and it tore me up! Great working with Traci & Brittney – didn’t mean to leave you hanging, Wendy 🙁

    I managed 55/60/65 then failed during my 70 round (I think after 3 or 4 cycles); finished off repeating 65 (fully). My body’s already aching so I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring!

    I failed on 3rd rep @ 85 getting the push press from my back & picked the bar up to try again, but had nothing left! Great work 4:30…it was good to be back 🙂
