WOD:

Snatch balance 3-3-3-3-3

Start with a barbell racked across the back of the shoulders as it would be for a back squat with hands in a Snatch grip. Start with your feet in the pulling position. Dip and drive at the knees to unload the bar momentarily, and transition the feet to the receiving position while driving yourself into the bottom of an overhead squat.

    Did a little baby mini wod with Sean & Kyle:
    3 rounds
    10 box jumps
    10 pull ups
    10 sit ups

  • So far the Snatch Balance is a no go. I only did 105# do to form issues.Practice makes perfect. Kristin also did her own pull-ups on that mini wod!

  • This snatch balance was different. At first, I felt pretty good, but as the weight increased, my form suffered (and I have bruises to prove it)! Enjoyed working with Melissa, Maddie & Bridget!

  • 75 for 2. Felt my best and fastest at 75. Gotta get unscared about getting under! Rar!

  • 35-45-55-65-75-85
    This was a new move- opposite of Toni, I actually felt I had better form, the heavier it got. I dilly-dallied around at 65#, then at 75# and 85# (x3) I did really well.

    Little mini-thing afterwards with Karin (so glad you’re back!)

  • Throw back WOD today with Karin and Wendy, I feel like I have not worked out with the two of you in forever!!!! I loved it, and great job today.
    35-45-55-65-75-85-95F-95F-95. I liked this all but the return, that did not feel so hot.

    Thanks again for all the support on my trip, I will really miss you guys.

  • I missing my CrossfitNKY crew this week but did get to workout with Crossfit Grapevine in Texas. Very cool crew of folks who work pretty hard. This one in:

    Finished this little nasty in 14:27. I swear i workout better at night! Is that weird?
