  • I always consider it an honor to do these workouts in memory of these fine men and women who gave their lives defending our freedom. “Bull” has been one of my favorites. Couldn’t quite Rx this one but was still glad to do it!

    Two rounds for time of:
200 Double-unders (Wound up doing 600 single unders or i’d still be there)
135 pound Overhead squat, 50 reps (Subbed for 95#)

    Run 1 mile

Everyone have a safe and wonderful New Year! Can’t wait to see what 2011 brings!

  • 48:04 w/ DUs and 95# OHSQ. My O/H squats definitely got better. Bridget got 43:50? with DUs and 55/45# OHSQ.

My legs are shot after all the squats, burpees, box-jumps and lunges this week.

    Happy New Year to all!

  • I’m probably not getting out of work before 2:00, so it looks like I’ll miss this one. I’ll be doing something when I get out of here, for sure. (Can’t pass up this great weather.) Just not sure if I can pull this off at home, or if I’ll come up with something else.

I hope everyone has a very safe, happy New Year! See you soon!

  • Just over 52 minutes. Double unders getting better, but still take way too long. Dropped to 85# for OHS. The ladies in the 9:00 am class killed it! Great way to end the year. Looking forward to 2011.

  • Due to time……ok, AND ability constraints I chopped this one in half. 75lbs for ohs. Actually did some single unders on the second set too. Blah.
    38:??

Certainly a killer no matter how you slice it. Happy new year all!

  • Thinking about doing “Murph” tomorrow up at England Idlewild park tomorrow around 11am if anyone is as sick as I am. That will all depend on my alcohol consumption that is.

  • Having a key to the gym is handy :)…..I was lucky enough to meet up with a great workout partner, TONI BAKER, and shoot some “BULL” at 5:30pm.
We stayed together- she held back a little as I finished my pull ups and I held back a little on the run- we got through it together….Toni, would you do the honor of posting our time, please(?)

  • Wendy I wish I would have known you guys would have been up there then…..i would have met you guys and did it also. I hate missing.

  • Thanks so much, Wendy for letting me crash your party 🙂 We finished in 45:03. I did single unders, 45# for OHS, and pull-ups one at a time. Seriously, I think I strung together 2 or 3 a couple of times, but for the most part, ONE AT A TIME! Glad we did it though!

  • and oh – it cracked me up when Wendy heard me scoot the box a little under the pull up bar (she was finishing up OHS in the other room), and yelled “Don’t grab that band!” I’m telling you, them’s MOM EARS! She knew what I was up to, and just like a good girl, I did what she told me. Thanks for that too, Wendy 🙂

  • I loved reading your posts and definitely want to make this one up! Happy 2011 everyone & thanks CFNKY for everything you’ve taught me in 2010! See you all soon!

  • Lucas! Just as I was building up the courage and about to head that way. Stopped at starbucks. Locked my keys in my car. Had to wait an hour fit triple a to save me! Ha! True story!!!! Ugh.
