The What?

crosstrain

Are you ready to strengthen team dynamic while getting stronger, building endurance, gaining confidence, increasing explosiveness and reducing the risk of injury?  Then CrossTrain Sports Camp is for your team.

The Why?

The Why?

Many teams struggle in one or more of the following areas, which can be detrimental to your team’s success:

  1. In need of leadership & team building activities
  2. Nagging injuries
  3. Too fatigued to finish the game
  4. Lack of explosiveness and/or strength to out maneuver their opponents
  5. Not enough equipment
  6. Improper movement mechanics

CrossTrain Sports Camp will provide your team with the necessary tools to succeed over your next season by strengthening each of the above areas.

The Options

Option #1

6 Week CrossTrain Sports Camp
This option may be best for you if want to keep your team engaged throughout the summer and you are unable to do a daily camp.

The How?
Summer CrossTrain Camp Option #1 is two, 2-hour sessions (i.e.Tuesdays and Thursday 10:30-12:30), per week over six weeks.  Based on a team evaluation (provided by coach) CrossTrain will provide a sport specific training program for each session. During this time, CrossTrain will not only provide a strength and conditioning program but will teach proper movement mechanics for lifting, agility training, and anaerobic style workouts (similar to that of CrossFit).

Option #1 is great for learning proper movement and lifting mechanics while building power production and aerobic capacity. Your team will develop endurance over the course of the 6 weeks that will improve stamina and performance on the field or court. We will also be able to fine tune movement patterns and technique during this 6-week time period.

Option #2

2 Week Intensive CrossTrain Sports Camp
This option may work best for you if you are looking for a more intensive off-season program, but have limited time.

The How?
Summer CrossTrain Camp Option #2 is ten, two hour sessions (i.e. Monday through Friday 10:30-12:30), for two weeks.  Based on a team evaluation (provided by coach) CrossTrain will provide a sport specific training program for each session.  During this time, CrossTrain will not only provide a strength and conditioning program but will teach proper movement mechanics for lifting, agility training and anaerobic style workouts (similar to that of CrossFit).  Due to the intensity of back to back days, this session option will include more mobility and lifting technique to help allow the body to rest and recover.

Option #2 is great for teaching the team proper movement and lifting mechanics that can extend throughout their athletic careers while strengthening aerobic capacity.  This option will also include mobility training that can benefit your team for years to come.

Option #3

1 Week Intensive CrossTrain Skills Camp
This option may be best for you if you have limited off-season time and you are looking for an introduction to supplemental training and technique.

The How?
Summer CrossTrain Camp Option #3 is five, two hour sessions (Monday through Friday 10:30-12:30), for one week.  Based on a team evaluation (provided by coach) CrossTrain will provide a sport specific training program for each session.  During this time, CrossTrain will provide an anaerobic conditioning program and will teach proper movement and lifting mechanics.  Due to the intensity of back to back days this session option will include more movement and lifting technique to help reduce the risk of injury during strength & conditioning season of the sport.
