Everything I do is active and Crossfit is a way for me to be physically and mentally be prepared for all of the things I like to do.
Bri started CF 5 years ago at CFNKy and after much convincing from her coach’s she reluctantly took the L1 course to become a coach.
Emily has always been very active and athletic. She started playing soccer at the age of three and played all the way into College where she played all four years at Georgetown College.
Emily and her boyfriend first tried out crossfit over College summer break on vacation in Florida. She was instantly loved it. On the off seasons of soccer, Emily could be found at either the box in Georgetown or at home at CFNKY. After her senior soccer season came to an end, she took on Crossfit full time and has loved every minute of it.
She has grown in so many ways and when she was given the chance to take her L1 she immediately hopped on it. “I love taking the drive and knowledge I have for the sport and sharing it. As a school teacher, I am inclined to help others and share the joy of this wonderful sport. I love the community feel that Crossfit has offered me and I have met lifelong friends. I couldn’t imagine where I would be without it.” ~Emily

Mike holds his CrossFit Level One Trainer Certificate and has been hooked on CrossFit ever since he started back in 2014. Mike coaches regularly at CrossFit Northern Kentucky and has three boys to occupy any free time he may have. He is also involved with coaching youth sports including baseball, flag football, soccer, and CrossTrain.
Mike played collegiate Soccer and afterward his search for the right
outlet for his love of fitness and competition led him to CrossFit. He
has experience with Running, Swimming, weightlifting, and various
other gravity sports. The comradery in the gym, the exposure to new and unpredictable fitness challenges, and the pursuit of mastery in an unlimited number of physical and mental disciplines is what
makes CrossFit such a valuable part of Mike’s life.
Mike and his wife Jenn joined Andrew and Kendra Ross as owners of CrossFit Northern Kentucky at the start of 2019. After being part of the CFNKY community since 2014 Mike was extremely excited to have
the opportunity to transition into the new position.

Jenn has been active in the Fitness world since graduating from Ashland University with a degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. She started out as a personal trainer, but soon left the industry to pursue a degree in Nursing at Kent State University. She currently works at Cincinnati Children’s in HealthWorks!, a weight management clinic for youth, but prior to that, spent 10 years working in all areas of Adult Cardiology. Jenn dabbled in Pilates Reformer, Yoga, running, and the Globo gym scene for several years before finding the perfect “fit” at CrossFit Northern Kentucky. She enjoys the community atmosphere, excellent programming (and results!), and the encouragement for pursuing optimal health that is found within the walls of CFNKY.
Jenn is actively involved in CrossTrain Youth, as her passion is educating youth and their families on the benefits and ownership of good health. Her goal is to provide accessible fitness and nutrition education to families across Northern Kentucky.
Jenn is also involved in the Corporate Wellness Programs that CFNKY offers to promote fitness, nutrition counseling, and healthy lifestyle within our community (inquire within!!).

Kendra has been into fitness for over half her lifetime. She has an athletic background which includes Basketball (collegiate), Softball (HS), Baseball (HS), Golf (HS) and Soccer (HS). After college, Kendra continued to play recreational sports, adventure racing, various cardio programs and some basic weightlifting.
It wasn’t until 2012 that Kendra found CrossFit. She was immediately hooked. Late 2014, Kendra and her husband Andrew took over partial ownership along with Richard and Maria Brown from CFNKY’s original owner.
Kendra has had a drive to compete over the years and has competed at various local level competitions. However, over the past several years she has become more passionate about helping others achieve their CrossFit goals and sharing her love for CrossFit with those who would normally think CrossFit is “not for them.”
Kendra is passionate about CrossFit. “CrossFit takes the mundane and makes it fun. It changes peoples out look on working out and changes perspectives on one’s abilities.” ~ Kendra
